About the Conference
The Cornell Emerging Markets Institute (EMI) annual conference to be held on November 8th at Cornell Tech campus on Roosevelt Island. Under the theme of Constructive Engagement, this year’s conference will explore the diverse challenges brought by the U.S. China trade war and the need to build bridges and encourage dialogue.
This one-day event is the institute’s flagship event to launch the Emerging Markets Institute 2019 report (please download last year’s Emerging Market Multinationals Report: Emerging Markets Reshaping Globalization) and to bring together leading academics, students, and business and opinion leaders to discuss the Emerging Markets achievements. Over the past years, we have forged organizational partnerships and gleaned timely insights from speakers about the ongoing dynamism of the emerging markets landscape, with a focus on China, India, Brazil, and Mexico.
